He looks at my notebook and asks to see my doodles. I hand him the notebook. "Dinosaurs!" he says "Why dinosaurs? They're extinct!"
I'm like "Well, not all of them are extinct. Birds are dinosaurs and they're still around..."
"Yeah, but you're not drawing birds. All these dinosaurs are extinct"
"Well, yeah, that's true" I say as he keeps looking at the drawings.
"I don´t understand" he says "Why don´t you draw something else, like insects or something?"
"I prefer to take photographs of insects instead of drawing them" I reply.
"I'll tell you something kid. That you draw so many dinosaurs means that you're stuck living in the past, that's what I think". He returns me the notebook angrily, pays for his stuff and leaves.
And I'm like "WTF?" XD
So what do you think? Are we people who like to draw dinosaurs obsessed with the past?

A very odd scenario for the man to get angry over. It's not like insects are any more diverse to the common layman.
