Zygophyseter fue un pariente prehistorico del cachalote, a veces llamado "cachalote asesino" (killer sperm whale). Este animal estaba entre los depredadores mas feroces de su tiempo, y solo tenia que preocuparse por unos cuantos monstruos marinos mas grandes, como el Megalodon.
Zygophyseter was a prehistoric relative of the sperm whale sometimes called killer sperm whale.
It was among the fiercest predators of its time and had only a bunch of larger sea monsters, like Megalodon, to fear.
