JURASSIC PARK Los Archivos Perdidos
Oviraptor
Epoca: Cretaceo tardio, hace 80-70 millones de años
Distribucion: Asia
Longitud: 2.5 metros
Peso: 40 kilos
Dieta: Omnivoro

JURASSIC PARK The Lost Files
Oviraptor
Age: Late Cretaceous, 80-70 mya
Range: Asia
Length: 2.5 meters
Weight: 40 kgs
Diet: Omnivore
Oviraptor was among the last dinosaurs cloned by InGen scientists.
This strange looking animal roams in the thick jungle areas where it is safe from larger predators, but during daylight it visits the nesting grounds of other dinosaurs, stealing their eggs; it has even been known to steal and devour raptor hatchlings, although it usually avoids this dangerous predator.
Oviraptors mate for life, and both parents help rearing the young. The bond between male and female is strong, and they both attack and drive away other Oviraptors of both sexes out of their territory.
This is an intelligent, curious dinosaur, not aggressive; however, it can bite with incredible force; thus, caution is suggested.
TRIVIA: Oviraptor was taken to Jurassic Park a few days after the first deadly Velociraptor attack in the park; for a short while, rangers nicknamed it "Casuariosaurus", because the workers were too afraid to go anywhere near an animal with "raptor" on its name.
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION

You know the funny bit? It turns out, Oviraptors actually didn't eat the eggs of other species - that misunderstanding was generated when a nest full of the eggs of Oviraptor was misidentified as that of a Protoceratops.

If I add something of yours to my favorites but don't comment, all it means is that I've got nothing to say, but want to show my appreciation for something good. I know you want good, honest critique - so do I - but I think silence is better than spam.
