El tigre dientes de sable fue uno de los ultimos y mas grandes felinos dientes de sable; algunos fosiles sugieren que se extinguio hace unos 9.500 años. A sabertooth tiger (Smilodon fatalis) warns its rivals to stay away from its territory. The sabertooth tiger was one of the largest and last sabertoothed cats; some fossils suggest it became extinct about 9,500 years. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. (The whole machairodontinae group is known as "sabertoothed cats"). Yes, they weren´t that closely related to tigers, but it receives that name anyways due to its being among the largest, fiercest of its kind.
