EXTREMADAMENTE PELIGROSO!
JURASSIC PARK The Lost Files Carcharodontosaurus Age: Late Cretaceous, 98-95 mya Range: Africa Length: 14 meters Weight: Up to 8 tons Diet: Carnivore Carcharodontosaurus is one of the largest meat eaters recreated by InGen. It is as big as T-Rex and eually dangerous, although its behavior and hunting techniques are different. This great predator lives in groups with no social organization whatsoever (although obviously, the largest individuals have priority over a kill). Males and females are practically identical. Carcharodontosaurus is specially bad tempered and fights among them are frequent. They also attack some other carnivore dinosaurs, but amazingly, alliances between them and other species, including T-Rex, have been reported. Carcharodontosaurus produce roars that are shorter and somewhat sharper than those of T-Rex, but they produce them constantly. A keeper in the Park described them as "noisy". Like other carnivores, they also produce a strong smell of blood and rotten flesh that can be sensed from the distance. Unlike Allosaurus, they don´t live in lairs and are not territorial. Cases of cannibalism have been reported. They are more diurnal than T-Rex, although if a hunt becomes too long they can continue their activity during night. After eating, they rest around the carcass and don´t leave until the flesh has dissapeared completely. Their razor sharp teeth and jaws that can open at incredible degree makes them very efficient hunters and devourers. TRIVIA: A much brighter color phase of Carcharodontosaurus has been reported more than once. According to witnesses, these "aberrant" animals are also larger than normal coloured ones. Although color morphs are common among dinosaurs, there are rumors that these individuals are actually Giganotosaurus. If this was true, the confusion would be most likely due to the fact that Giganotosaurus was described by science several years after it was cloned by InGen- EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
