El Ultimo Tiranosaurio by HodariNundu El Ultimo Tiranosaurio by HodariNundu

In some remote forest 60 million years ago, in what will one day become North America, a tyrannosaur is ready to devour its prey, a 150 kg Titanoides.
There's absolutely no evidence of large dinosaurs surviving up to Titanoides' time, but anyone who knows me knows that I love the idea of isolated survivors here and there :B
Hence this old sketch: hodarinundu.deviantart.com/art…
In reality, it was sebecids (land crocodiles) that continued to terrorize mammals during the early Cenozoic, at least in South America:

Very cool for sure. ^^ But is there actually any evidence for dinosaurs surviving into the Cenozoic?

I'm aware this is a Hodarization, but fist, judging by the perspective the Tyrannosaurus's torso is fully vertical or close to it, and second, the KT impact lit the atmosphere on fire, so anything not underwater or in a burrow at that moment burned to death.

So, it lived in a cave :B And yeah, its very vertical indeed- but that was on purpose so it would tower over the little mammals below.

Either way, it's a cool concept! But if large dinosaurs had survived, I don't think anything could have stopped them from recolonizing the Earth—certainly not the rats, shrews and possums.
