Prehistoric version of the snake that killed itself swallowing a (Crocodile was it? Or was it an alligator? I hate it when I get the two mixed up XD ) it seems. I feel sorry for both of them really. The snake for likely killing itself, and the dinosaur for probably not surviving the ordeal. The croc could have survived since from what I hear it was alive when the snake's stomach burst, but the acids killed it before it could get out.

That's the problem most animals have. When eating - and picking their targets - they can't always tell when too much is "too much" ^^;

It was an alligator, and I really donīt believe it was alive when swallowed. Pythons always make sure large prey is dead before swallowing it.

In that case I wonder what would happen when Titanoboa and Tyrannosaurus would meet... Such a shame that they didn't live together!:( What size was Madtsoia actually?

The largest may have reached over 15 meters- but they are known from very fragmentary remains. The better known species were within the range of modern day boas and pythons

I thought Gigantophis was the biggest being 11 meters in length, or am I wrong?
