Chicken Huge by HodariNundu Chicken Huge by HodariNundu

You know how Edmontosaurus turned out to have a soft tissue crest similar to a rooster's?
It occured to me that people would start drawing that, so I drew a Prosaurolophus instead :B (Dino I had not drawn in ages, btw). Prosaurolophus had a small bony crest on its skull which wouldn´t have been a very eye-catching display on its own, but I guess it would make more sense if the crest was the anchoring point for a fleshy crest larger than Edmontosaurus' :B

The crest for there for display purposes like on some modern birds,in spite of that hadrosaurs were likely scaly, theonly group of dinos known to have had feathers were the coleusor therapods, that includes tyrannosaurs.

So you don´t think the fuzz in Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Psittacosaurus etc had anything to do with feathers?

Feathers are said to be highly evolved scales by paleontologists,so its possible they had something on the crest similar to true feathers, but im not one to believe that they had bodies covered in feathers like the coleusor therapods.
