Baryonyx was no heron

Description

A little doodle based on the discovery of spinosaur tracks in Spain, most likely from a Baryonyx. The trackway (named Theroplantigrada) shows that the animal had webbed feet like a duck, with a flexible first toe that could point backwards as in many birds or to the front, like the other toes. All in all not very different from the foot of Spinosaurus. If these are indeed the tracks of Baryonyx, it means it spent a lot more time in the water tan usually believed (the tracks are from an individual actually leaving the water), and that it used its webbed feet to swim, along with the tail probably. It wouldn´t have been a giant heron as has often been said, standing on the shallows to catch passing fish; it would have ventured into deep water to actively pursuit them. The one in the doodle was lucky; hence the huge gular sac :B
It wouldn´t have been very fast or agile on land, however. In fact, it probably never ventured far from water.
