Attack of the Dragon Croc by HodariNundu Attack of the Dragon Croc by HodariNundu

A hapless sauropod falls prey to a Baurusuchus D:
Baurusuchus was basically a 4 meter land-dwelling croc, with powerful jaws armed with sharp, serrated teeth (like carnivorous dinos, but unlike modern crocs).
The idea that these predators had whiskers or something similar is not mine, but I gave it longer and thicker whiskers, kind of like a catfish's barbels or a lobster's antennae. Truth is this would make more sense in an aquatic animal, but screw it :D I liked the idea of a sort of prehistoric dragon.

Yeah I'm using a sharpie along with the ballpoint pen :B I usually reserve my sharpies for the comics I draw but I thought I would try to mix them both for a change :>

"MINE! Leave at once, lesser archosaurs!"
Notosuchians were actually replacing theropods in warmer latitudes of South America before the extinction event.

I don´t know, but I had seen pics of whiskered Bauru before and supossedly they were based on anatomical hints that there was something unusual in the creature's snout (like what u see in whiskered mammal skulls today)

Hey, it'd probably terrify the plants and fungi as well - it might not eat them, but it'd trample a few :-)
