Fishing in a coastal lagoon, an Eustreptospondylus gets the shock of its life when a Dakosaurus that had been waiting in ambush is captured by an inmense Machimosaurus, just before it can attack the dinosaur. Machimosaurus is the largest of the so called "sea crocodiles"- in the 9-11 meter long range, and there's evidence that it ate dinosaurs, but most of its diet was probably other marine animals. This scene is somewhat anachronistic- I think Eustreptospondylus lived earlier than the other two, but I wanted to include it because now it's known to have been, so to speak, halfway into becoming a spinosaur, and it looks cooler than before
No it's a megalosaurid, but it has often been at times consider to be more related to the spinosaurids in the past due to it's skull bearing canny resemblance.
When I first saw the drawing I was like: Baryonyx + Mosasaurus + Sarcosuchus = Huh??? But now I've read the description, I think it's a great concept, though I doubt it would have happended for real. Good job once again!
Awesome picture by the way
A friend sent me a link to it but I donīt remember it anymore XD
P.S. I see what you did there with the title.
